Accepting these terms

These terms and conditions (“terms”) are an agreement between you and Fresher Job Alerts (“we”, “us”, “our”) for your use of fresherjobalerts.com and its related services (the “website”).

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, and our disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

About the service

Fresher Job Alerts is a free job information website. We publish fresher jobs, experienced jobs, and walk-in drives, provide career articles, offer optional user accounts and job alerts, and may give free referrals to published openings when you ask.

We are not an employer, recruitment agency, or placement consultant. We do not make hiring decisions and are not a party to any job application, interview, or employment contract between you and an employer.

No fees — ever

Using the website is free for job seekers. We do not charge any fee for job listings, applications, referrals, interviews, offer letters, registration, or training, and no one is authorised to collect money on our behalf.

If anyone asks you for money, OTPs, or bank details in the name of Fresher Job Alerts, it is not us. Do not pay, and please report it to us. We are not responsible for payments made to anyone claiming to represent us.

Who can use the website

Anyone may browse job listings. To create an account, request a referral, or subscribe to alerts, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Accounts are for individual job seekers. Admin accounts may only be used by people we have authorised to operate the website, and they must handle other users' data carefully and only for running the service.

Your account

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Do not create an account for someone else or share your account with others.
  • Tell us immediately through the contact page if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • You may ask us to close your account at any time.

Referrals

If you request a referral for a published opening:

  • the referral is free, and we only share your details with the employer after you agree;
  • you confirm that the information and resume you provide are true and accurate;
  • we may decline or be unable to complete a request, for example if the opening has closed;
  • a referral does not guarantee an interview, selection, or any job — the employer decides.

Your content

“Your content” means your profile details, resume, messages, and anything else you submit. You remain the owner of your content, and you are responsible for it. It must be accurate, lawful, and your own.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, and display your content only as needed to run the service — for example, showing your profile to you or sharing your resume with an employer for a referral you requested. You can delete your resume from your profile page at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website to upload, share, or do anything that:

  • is false, misleading, fraudulent, or a fake job offer;
  • impersonates Fresher Job Alerts, a listed company, or any other person;
  • asks job seekers for money, OTPs, bank details, or personal documents;
  • is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or harmful to children;
  • infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other right;
  • contains viruses, malware, or any harmful code;
  • tries to bypass security, authentication, or rate limits, or overloads our systems;
  • scrapes, copies, or republishes listings in bulk, or harvests email addresses, without our written permission;
  • sends spam or misuses the contact form;
  • breaks any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

Job listings and accuracy

We publish listings in good faith based on employers' career pages and official notices, but we do not verify every detail and cannot guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or still open. You are responsible for checking each job on the employer's official website before applying, travelling, or sharing documents. If a listing and the employer's official information differ, the employer's information applies.

Third-party websites

The website contains links to employer and other third-party websites. Those websites have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services, or practices. Walk-in drives are organised by employers at their venues, not by us.

Our content and trademarks

The website's design, logo, name, articles, graphics, and original text are owned by Fresher Job Alerts and protected by law. You may view and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use, and quote short extracts with credit and a link. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish whole pages or articles without our written permission. Company names and logos shown in listings belong to their respective owners.

Copyright, trademark, and content complaints

If you believe any content on the website infringes your rights, is inaccurate, or is unlawful — or if you represent a company and want a listing, name, or logo corrected or removed — please contact us with the page link and the details of your complaint. We will review it and remove or correct the content where appropriate.

Advertising

The website shows advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense, to keep it free. Ads are separate from job listings, and showing an ad is not an endorsement. Advertisers cannot pay to publish or change listings. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. See our privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Please also read our disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fresher Job Alerts will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost job opportunities, travel costs to a walk-in, money paid to third parties, or loss of data, arising from your use of the website, any listing, any referral, or any linked website.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the amount you paid us to use it in the three months before the claim. Because the website is free for job seekers, this amount is normally zero. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate and hold Fresher Job Alerts harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) caused by your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, or content you submit that infringes someone else's rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, remove content, or block access to the website — with or without notice — if you break these terms, misuse the website, post fake or harmful content, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the website and ask us to close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as limitation of liability) survive termination.

General terms

  • Entire agreement: these terms, together with our privacy policy and disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about the website.
  • Severability: if any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a term, we do not give up our right to enforce it later.
  • Events beyond our control: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages or natural events.
  • Contact: questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page or to support@fresherjobalerts.com.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If we make significant changes, we will show a notice on the website. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the new terms.
