Question 2

How do I apply for a job?

Accepted Answer

Open the job and use “Official link — Click here to apply”. It takes you to the employer’s own careers page or email. You apply directly with the company; we never collect applications or resumes for them.

Question 3

Do I need an account to apply?

Accepted Answer

No. Anyone can read jobs and apply through the official link. An account only lets you keep a profile on this site.

Question 4

What is the Job ID / Ref ID on a job?

Accepted Answer

Every job has a unique 8-digit Job ID, shown on the job page and at the end of its web address. When the employer publishes their own reference or requisition code, we show that as the Ref ID. Quote it when you ask for a referral or report a problem.

Question 5

How do I find jobs in my city?

Accepted Answer

Use the Location filter on the Jobs page, or open a city page such as Fresher jobs in Bengaluru. Jobs marked “Pan India” are open across India and show in every city; “Remote” jobs can be done from home.

Question 6

Why is a job missing, or its apply link not working?

Accepted Answer

Companies close openings early and change their careers pages. Jobs also expire after their last date. If a link is broken or the opening has closed, please tell us and we will update or remove it.

Question 7

How often are new jobs added?

Accepted Answer

We add new jobs regularly as we find and check official openings. Check the “Published on” date on each job, and filter the Jobs page by “Last 24 hours” or “Last 7 days” to see the newest ones.

Question 8

Do you give referrals?

Accepted Answer

On request, we may be able to help with a free referral for a published opening. A referral is never guaranteed and never charged for, and it does not guarantee an interview or a job.

Question 9

How do I ask for a referral?

Accepted Answer

Go to the Contact page and choose “Referral”. Include the Job ID or Ref ID shown on the job page, your name and a short summary of your profile.

Question 10

Do you forward my resume to companies?

Accepted Answer

No. We never sell placements or forward resumes on our own. A referral is only made when you ask for it, for a specific published job.

Question 11

What is a walk-in drive?

Accepted Answer

A walk-in is an interview day at a fixed venue, date and time, where you go in person without applying online first. Walk-ins are listed separately from regular jobs.

Question 12

What should I carry to a walk-in?

Accepted Answer

Carry the documents listed on the walk-in page. Usually that means printed copies of your resume, a photo ID, passport-size photos and education certificates. Reach before the reporting time.

Question 13

How do I know a walk-in is genuine?

Accepted Answer

Match the venue and date with the company’s official website or notice before you travel. A genuine company never asks for money to attend an interview.

Question 14

How do I create an account?

Accepted Answer

Click Register, enter your details and verify your email with the one-time code we send you. Registration is free.

Question 15

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Use “Forgot password” on the login page and follow the steps sent to your email. For your safety we cannot reset passwords through the contact form.

Question 16

What data do you keep, and how is it used?

Accepted Answer

We keep only what you give us to run your account and answer your messages. We use analytics and show ads to keep the site free. The Privacy Policy explains everything, including your rights.

Question 17

Do you charge any fee?

Accepted Answer

No. Fresher Job Alerts is free. We never charge candidates for jobs, applications, referrals or interviews, and we never sell placements.

Question 18

Someone asked me for money in your name. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Do not pay. It is a scam, because we never ask candidates for money. Report it to us with the phone number, email or message, and report it to the national cybercrime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or helpline 1930.

Question 19

How can I spot a fake job offer?

Accepted Answer

Warning signs: a fee for training, registration or equipment; an offer without an interview; messages from personal email or WhatsApp numbers only; pressure to decide fast. Always confirm on the company’s official website.

Question 20

Are you a recruitment or placement agency?

Accepted Answer

No. We are an independent job board that shares openings with the official apply link. We do not hire for companies and are not an agent of the companies we list.

Question 21

Do the company names and logos mean you are partners?

Accepted Answer

No. Company names and logos only identify who is hiring. They are not an endorsement and do not mean we represent that company.

Question 22

I am an employer. Can I list a job?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Write to us through the Contact page with the official job notice or careers link, and we will review it.
