How we verify jobs

This page explains how Fresher Job Alerts finds, checks, publishes and removes job listings. It is our editorial policy, written so you know exactly what a listing on this site does and does not mean.

Key takeaways

  • Every job links to the company’s own official apply page. You always apply directly with the company.
  • We check the company, the role and the apply link against official sources before publishing.
  • Jobs past their last date are marked expired automatically every night.
  • We never charge candidates or companies, and we are not a recruiter.
  • If something looks wrong, report it and we will review it.

Why this page exists

Job seekers are targeted by fake offers, copied listings and people who ask for money in the name of real companies. A job board should be clear about what it checks and what it cannot promise. This page sets that out in plain words, so you can decide how much to rely on a listing and what to check yourself.

Where our listings come from

Our team adds every listing by hand. We do not copy listings automatically from other sites. Openings usually come from:

  • Official careers pages of companies.
  • Official hiring notices and announcements published by the company.
  • Company pages on well-known hiring platforms, where the company itself posted the role.
  • Walk-in drive notices published by the company or its official hiring partner.

What we check before publishing

  1. The company is real. It has an official website and the listing matches the company’s name and business.
  2. The role exists. The opening appears on the company’s official careers page or official notice.
  3. The apply link is official. It points to the company’s own domain or a well-known hiring platform, not a personal email or a form on an unknown site.
  4. No fees. Nothing in the process asks candidates for money for applying, training, interviews or joining.
  5. The details are clear. We write the role, location, experience, skills, qualifications and last date in the same format for every job.

If a listing fails any of these checks, we do not publish it.

What every listing shows

DetailWhy it is there
Company and roleSo you know exactly who is hiring and for what
Location and experienceSo you can skip roles that do not fit before you spend time
Skills and qualificationsSo you can check eligibility and prepare for the tests
Last dateSo you know how long the opening is expected to stay open
Job IDA unique number for each job, useful when you report a problem or ask for help
Official apply linkSo you always apply on the company’s own page

Keeping listings current

Openings close. When a job has a last date, it is marked as expired automatically every night after that date passes, and it stops appearing in search results. When we learn that a company has closed an opening early or changed its details, we update or remove the listing.

Good habit: even on a fresh listing, open the official apply link and confirm the details there before you apply. Companies can change their pages at any time.

Walk-in drives

Walk-in drives are listed separately from regular jobs, with the date, time and venue. We only show drives that have not ended. A drive that runs for several days stays listed until its last day. Because walk-ins need you to travel, please confirm the date and venue on the company’s official site or notice before you go.

What we do not do

  • We do not charge candidates for viewing jobs, applying, referrals or anything else.
  • We do not act as a recruiter or a placement agency, and we do not guarantee interviews or jobs.
  • We do not collect applications or resumes on behalf of companies.
  • We do not ask for OTPs, bank details or document copies on WhatsApp or by phone.
  • We do not accept money from companies to publish or rank listings.

Your part in staying safe

No check is perfect, and scammers copy real listings. Before you share documents or attend an interview, take a minute to confirm the job on the company’s official site. Our fake job and scam guide explains the warning signs and what to do if something feels wrong.

Corrections and reports

If you find a closed opening, a wrong detail, a broken apply link or anything suspicious, tell us. Use the “Report this job” link on the job page, or the contact form with the topic “Listing issue”, and include the Job ID. We read every report and correct or remove listings that are wrong.

If someone asks you for money using our name, please report it through the fake recruiter form, and on the national cybercrime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or helpline 1930.

Advertising and independence

Fresher Job Alerts is free for job seekers. We may show advertising to keep the site running. Advertisers do not decide which jobs we publish, how they are ordered, or what our guides say. Company names and logos are used only to identify who is hiring and do not mean a partnership. See our disclaimer and privacy policy for more.

Frequently asked questions

No. We are an independent job board. We publish openings with a link to the company’s own apply page. The company runs its own hiring process and makes every decision.
