Virtusa is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for its Hyderabad office to ensure the quality and performance of software products through automated testing processes. This role is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to develop expertise in performance testing and quality assurance within a structured learning environment.
The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts focused on performance testing. The role involves analyzing test results, documenting test cases and defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality standards are maintained. The engineer will participate in test planning sessions, contribute to improving testing methodologies, and work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver quality software.
This position is open to candidates with 0–2 years of experience who have a strong foundation in performance testing concepts and automation frameworks. The role offers hands-on experience with real software products and the opportunity to grow technical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Recent graduates with relevant academic projects or coursework in testing and quality assurance are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools, along with experience or familiarity with automation testing frameworks.
