Job description
HCLTech is hiring Fresher AI/ML Developers to join its technology team. This role is designed for recent B.Tech graduates specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
The selected candidates will work across the complete lifecycle of software and AI products, starting from data collection and cleaning through model development, deployment, and monitoring. The role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world AI and business problems.
The position involves developing and fine-tuning AI systems using Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and multimodal AI architectures. Candidates may also work on Generative AI pipelines, data processing, model validation, and AI applications.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a B.Tech or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as CSE, IT, EC, AI, ML, or DL, along with a strong academic record.
Applicants should have hands-on programming experience in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Numba, and Scikit-learn. A strong understanding of Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, and SQL is required.
Candidates should have a strong foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, statistical and probabilistic modeling, data engineering, and data visualization.
Knowledge of GenAI frameworks, deep learning frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, agentic workflows, Git/GitHub, cloud platforms, MLOps/LLMOps, and relevant academic projects or internships will be an advantage.

Selection and interview process
