Job description
Amazon Robotics is hiring an Associate – ML Data Operations, GO-AI Operations for a non-technical, human-in-the-loop role supporting machine learning transformation. The position involves performing data annotation tasks that support the training and validation of machine learning models used by Amazon Robotics and Fulfillment Technologies.
Associates will perform precise annotations across image, video, and text data. The work includes analyzing fulfillment processes such as packaging, object manipulation, inventory storage, and sortation automation, while maintaining data quality and integrity.
The role includes annotation techniques such as object detection, semantic segmentation, object tracking, and open-text evaluation. Associates will also identify and correct annotation errors, use specialized annotation tools and platforms, and adapt to new annotation methodologies across different programs.
This is a 24×7 work-from-home role with rotational shifts. Associates will work 9-hour shifts and are required to maintain a dedicated workspace with adequate lighting and reliable internet connectivity of at least 20 Mbps or as communicated by Amazon. Night-shift allowance is applicable according to Amazon's work policy.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates should be able to manage their time effectively, meet individual productivity goals, and work with internal, partner, and customer teams.
Candidates should be willing to quickly learn new annotation methodologies and specialized annotation tools. Experience in data annotation or similar high-volume, quality-focused roles is preferred.
The role requires candidates to work flexible schedules, including rotational shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays where required. Selected candidates will undergo a structured one-week training program before deployment.
